Ek het 'n boek gelees genaamd 'Groot leiers vra groot vrae' en dit is wat Sam McDonald doen. Eintlik die regte vrae  wat die denkproses begin en aanwakker, want enige antwoorde wat ons ooit wil hê, lê diep in ons, en Sam weet hoe om jou binne jouself te lei vir daardie antwoord.


Voordat ek Sam ontmoet het, het ek 'n persepsie van myself gehad dat ek 'weird' of te hardwerkend is. Sam kon egter my Sterkpunte sien net deur met my te praat, en behalwe om sommige daarvan uit te lig, het sy daarop gewys hoe ons in ons nie-Sterkpunte in werklikheid ons talente mors. Daarna het ek 'n begeerte gehad om my Sterkpunte vas te stel en te ontwikkel.


Ek het saam met Sam gewerk om die potensiaal van my Sterkpunte te ontsluit, asook om 'n begrip te kry van wie ek was, nie deur na my swakheid te kyk nie, al het ons 'n tydjie hier deurgebring, maar deur te verstaan dat ek eksponensieel sal groei deur op my te fokus. Sterkpunte en om ander te vra om op te tel waar ek nie sterk is nie.  


Die resultate nadat hulle met Sam gewerk het, was verbeterde leierskap, kommunikasie en 'n beter manier om mense te sien vir wie hulle is op grond van hul sterkpunte en daaraan werk. Ek stel nou meer doelwitte, het verbeterde fokus en 'delegeer' my swakhede. Ek vier ook meer my suksesse.


Wat ek daarvan sou hou, as ek die hulpbronne gehad het, was om een van Sam se Afrigtingspakkette te neem sodat ek 'n plan gehad het om op te fokus en na te werk. Dit sou gehelp het met 'n implementeringsplan en doelwitte om aan my situasie te werk.


Voordat ek Sam ontmoet het, het almal my laat glo ek wou te veel uit die lewe hê en daarom was ek nogal mal in hul oë. Maar die ontsluiting van die potensiaal van my Sterkpunte het my laat besef dit is hoe ek deur God geskep is. Ek is gebore om groot dinge te doen.
